I like the leading look new in # 2 better.
Oops ... meant I like the leading lines in #2 better

The first makes me feel more on the bridge, the second I like the lines up of the cables...
Canvas on Demand is having a great sale by the way!
Photolady, I like the first one the best for the same reason you state.

They are both nice, but i do prefer the 2nd shot.
Both are beautiful tough decision but I am leaning towards no.2 I can’t tell you exactly why but it speaks to me
Which ever one YOU prefer works for me.
I much prefer the first one because in the second, my eyes jump back and forth between the bridge and the mountain, leaving me a bit confused as to the real intent of the subject. In the first, it’s obvious as to what the primary subject is--the bridge. If it’s your primary subject, go with the first one. If it’s the mountain, re-crop the second photo to make the mountain dominant.
I prefer the first one.
You may have already planned for this, but some of the places that make canvases (i.e. corner drug store) will cause a portion of the image to be lost when the canvas is wrapped on the frame.
I am not familiar with Canvas on Demand, so it may not be an issue.
Very nice image
My approach to these problems is to squash the picture. You want the boards and side rails to meet at the bottom. You want the cables at the top to come near the corners. You have a vertical size limit relative to the width. Try a vertical squash to get both of these to happen. You'll lose some verticality in the mountains but not much.

I like both but my preference would be number 2.

I prefer the first because my eyes are drawn to the mountains and the sky by the leading lines of the bridge. For some reason the second one draws my eyes to the bridge as the main subject.

I preferred the first one for the exact opposite reason--go figure.

I prefer the first one because of the mountain and the sky.

I like the first one better makes me feel like I am already on the bridge going across. The second one makes me feel like I am thinking about it. Both real nice shots though.
