A few years back I planned a trip to do the Great Southwest, you know the place. Never been there. Always wanted to go. A week before we were to fly out, my MIL who lives with us fell and broke her pelvis. Insert long, hard-luck story here. We couldn't go. (She's OK now, BTW)
Has taken us all this time to get it together for another try, same trip (Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Arches, Monument Valley, Page, Grand Canyon). All reservations made. All "I"s dotted, "T"s crossed. Scheduled to fly out early tomorrow. Now a big-ass storm (snow, wind, rain, yadda, yadda) is forecast to start tonight with major airport disruptions at Philly Airport tomorrow. Airline has already sent me e-mail warning that flight may be cancelled.
I know that you folks don't really know me but is the Cosmos trying to tell me to just "Punt" this trip idea? I mean, seriously!!
See what things look like tomorrow. Weather reports are notoriously inaccurate. Beyond that, try again next year and donโt forget to buy trip insurance.
I canโt help this one so please excuse the Lemony Snicket plagiarism but it sounds like a series of unfortunate events.
Whatโs the possibility of flying out before the storm hits?
Hopefully it does no more than delay you. Best of luck. Hope you get to go.

Maybe the cosmos is saying, "Hey, ask the airline to book you on a flight tonight and get an early start!!!"
Maybe the cosmos is trying to see how serious you are about making the trip.
If you listen to folks here you will have to change the title from taking a hint to taking advice.

What does this have to do with photography?
Hope you get to make the trip. I've always wanted to go there. Must be some way to work things out.

Geesus man. Go back and read the OP. No where does he say anything about photography. Can you really be that much of a dunce?

I guess I could only be more of a dunce, if I were you.
This is a photography forum. Maybe you were not aware of that. You can kind of assume the people posting here might just own cameras and take them along on major trips.
