March is here, but anticipated new dig cam upgrades are not, as yet. Which ones had YOU expected would've arrived, by now?

I remember something about a new Pentax should've appeared, by now. A new Sony, too. What had you heard about?

Pentax K1, a new version was announced a few days ago. Also a new Sony was announced a few days ago and a new Fuji also and 2 new Canon cameras. I think that is quite a good selection of new cameras from last month and nothing to complain about there.

I was expecting the replacement for the Nikon D750. It was announced in Sept. 2014 and is due for an upgrade. I was thinking the new camera would be announced at the CES show in January.

I'm expecting to see Nikon's new full fame and cropped sensor mirrorless cameras. It might still be a while before those appear. There are patents for two lenses for the new system - a 52mm f/0.9 and a 36mm f/1.2. I want that new 52mm f/0.9 lens.

Yes, I was just advised, JPL ... what's new in the K-1 II, do you know?

I'd been thinking more in terms of a new K-3 Mk. III - perhaps?

If the new Sony you were referring to, is the a77 Mk. III ... that won't be around till later in the year, I don't think ...

Been a couple new Fujis already ... XA-5 and XH1 ... are those the ones you mean?

What new Canons are coming down the pike, JPL?

f0.9, huh? ... catchy, CO ....

Don't hold your breath on that D750 ... Nikon has stopped supplying those plastic hot shoe caps, remember? ... to keep from going bankrupt, I guess ....

New in the K1, not very much I think. It has mostly minor improvements but the ability for hand held pixel shift high res photos may be a big improvement if it works well.
No, I had the Sony A7III in mind. Seems to be a great camera on the way from Sony.
Yes, I had the Fuji X-H1 in mind.
Canon is all over the media with the new M50 and their latest brilliant camera the 4000D

Do you know if they made a change to the LCD, on the K-1, JPL - so it turns all the way around, allowing selfies?

Yes, well ... the a7 Mk. III is already available ...

As is the Fuji X-H1 ... that one looks good, but pricey ... $1900 ... ooof!

Not interested in an M series Canon .... what's the 4000D about?

Well, I am not looking for a new camera so I am not fully updated on the exact ingredients of those new cameras. But the Canon 4000D is by some considered a joke, a 7 y.o. Canon camera that has been given a new name they say. And it is said to be the cheapest entry level camera available. You can get one of them for every day of the week for the price of the Fuji X-H1.

Don't think so .... they just updated the SL1 to the SL2 - a few months ago ... now, it has the Fully Articulated Touch Screen, and all ....
