How can I minimize LR? The button is no longer available. Is there a shortcut via the keyboard on my MacBook Pro??
Thanks.

Hate when that happens, with Windows too and other programs in addition to Ps or Lr.
It is a " rather complete list." I am going to print these shortcuts. Thank you very much.
A quick reference for shortcuts is in the Help menu. It changes for each module.

Why is the minimize button no longer available, did you go to full screen by clicking on the green button on the top left hand beside the yellow minimize button? If so just move your cursor to the top of the screen and press the green button to take the program out of full screen and then you will have all the buttons back.
The keyboard shortcuts are great too but I did want to know why you have the problem your having.

I wanted to minimize the whole thing. I understand about the "the little buttons" at the top. In my LRCC Classic, those options are not available. My question was not about the full or partial screen but to dock the program and return.
Thank you for your response.
A quick note on Adobe programs and Mac OS display issues. With Lightroom, Photoshop and Illustrator, we have noticed that preference files become corrupted, resulting in windows, tools palette, or other frames appearing outside of the computers screen areas. Often they can't be moved. A work around is sometimes found by changing the screen resolution, which repositions windows and palettes, then moving them and going back to preferred resolution. But every 3-6 months we find we need to trash the program preferences. Look it up on the adobe help site if it becomes bad enough you need to go that route.
Thanks for your reply. Isimpkins response solved my problem.
If you are on a PC, I suspect that you may have gone to Full Screen View... Press f11 and you will probably get it back!

Pressing the "F" key repeatedly will toggle you from full screen (buttons hidden) to standard screen (buttons visible) You can combine this with the "L" key (lights out) which will toggle between 3 states, borders dimmed, borders black and borders normal for a quick viewing without distractions.

I'm working at my Mac, LR classic open, and there in the corner is the minimize button, which I use all the time. So, it hasn't been eliminated. It's just not showing up on your screen. There is an answer somewhere without using keyboard shortcuts.

Command M solves the problem. All else has no meaning.

This is my tip for any Windows users having this same problem. Drove me nuts for awhile when it happened, but made this note for any future re-occurrences.
If the top of Lightroom panel containing "Minimize - Maximize - Close (X)" disappears:
Window> Screen Mode> Normal to restore
Control-Alt-F
