Any semi auto is not necessary for hunting unless you are a real bad shot, and if that's the case you shouldn't be out hunting in the first place.
The AR-15 is self aiming? Huh, I do believe I got gyped.

Don’t be so hard on the innocent little finger. Technically, it’s the brains behind the finger and the person in which both reside that is the devil incarnate.
Have to agree with you, but when you try to 'splain to a no brain, you use the word finger it's easier

You better get some real practice, we have a bunch of experts here

No but if you missed with the first shot you can put a whole lot of holes in the air where the animal used to be.

I absolutely give up, you all win. No more from me because I am the only one that gets what I was to say! I think I will go shoot something with my camera!

Maybe you can. Personally, I ration those rounds. They are really pricey.
Besides, being a responsible owner, even if my weapon were capable of full-auto, I wouldn’t use it. I’ve fired an M-60 and didn’t like it. Couldn’t spot my target with all that movement. An M-16 on auto wasn’t much better, even with 3-round bursts.
The weapon you describe exists only in the movies and your imagination.
Let’s just say I wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of a weapon in my hands.

Self protection is a God-given right. You would deny us that. Just as hitler, stalin, et al did to those being subjugated.

And you somehow expect people to take you seriously, let alone have an actual dialogue with you, while labeling your opponents "the devil", and then accusing your opponents of being like hitler and Stalin for good measure? Really? Just wow. What drugs are you on?

There is no reason for a AR15 other than to kill human beings.
Sophomoric assumption. Were this true, it seems like the USA would have suffered, oh, 100 million deaths by murder at the hands of the AR-15 over the past decade or so as there are tens of millions of these single-purpose killing machines in private ownership. The gun kills lots of people in short periods of time, so maybe the 100 million estimate is actually kind of low.
What are all those citizens doing with their murder machines if they are not committing murder with them? They must have found some other purpose for the firearm after all.

Two days ago, I saw a pack of coyotes attack and kill one of our calves. I asked them to stop. I called the police and the military but nobody stopped them and I didn't have a gun with me. That cost me about $1000.
I hope you never have a need to use a gun. I do. I do not hunt for food or shoot competively. The AR platform works well for coyotes and hogs. It is part of the ranch toolbox.
