Hey Guys, I would appreciate your thoughts on these two photos. When I compared them in LR side by side and zoomed in, it appears to me that Fuji XT-2 with 16-55 is sharper than K-1 with 24-70. I did multiple comparisons at different apertures and the results were the same. Not sure if my 24-70 has an issue since I got it used. If you browse through the pics, I did the same with 15-30 which yields sharper result compared to Fuji 16-55 as anticipated.

Different lenses yield this "test" completely unreliable.

And for the rest of us, which is crop and which is full frame? Not everyone knows these camera models.

Hard to tell which is better since "The owner has disabled downloading of their photos" from Flickr website.

It would be easier if you would just post the full size images to UHH for downloading.

That’s a fair question, Mark. The Pentax K1 is the Full Frame camera and the X-T2 has an APS-C sensor.

You must not be using SSL -

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/298805/how-to-enable-ssl-for-all-customers-who-interact-with-your-web-site-in

or you can risk continuing to run without it. All you have to do is take out the "s" from https:// in the URL. It should work. But do get SSL - it is one more hurdle that an interloper needs to go through to compromise your computer.

I am not sure what you are looking at to establish that one is sharper than the other. It is also hard to determine this from a lower resolution image on screen. Not to mention that in a time span of 30 secs anything can move to make an image appear less sharp. What are you using for camera support? Why are the images underexposed? Why are you trying to evaluate images shot at F11, when most current cameras already start to show diffraction-limited sharpness? Inquiring minds want to know . . .

I provided the link to down the original images so you can see on your screen. I am looking at the buildings when I zoom in. Thanks

I used MeFoto Carbon fiber tripod. It was surprising to me my crop sensor image was sharper than my FF on the same setting, aperture, focal length. It wasn't a windy night, but, as you said, anything is possible, slight movement can set the FF image off a bit. I was worried my 24-70 copy isn't sharp enough and unfortunately, I can't change it since I bought it used.
