Solution to Campus Shootings...
Today's students are motivated to find solutions. Here's an idea. High School students, Stop going to school. Silly?
Online learning is now possible.
Teachers, all school staff is paid from Average Daily Attendance, ADA. It is based on students attending school. If they stop, the funding is affected negatively.
Football and all team sports would end, in some communities that would really be a disaster, worth motivating parental voters to make their will known... lol
Politicians funded by the NRA would get an earful.
Teacher's unions would focus more on politicians with high NRA ratings.
btw, High school students will be voting soon. They just might believe their safety on campus is more important than the 2nd Amendment. Just maybe.

They can try but they will never get Americans to give up their guns. Its the main thing that's keeps America free. Just look at those that did. They turned into a dictatorship.
Is Australia a Dictatorship?
How about England?

How many times have you had to use a gun to "keep America free"?

The only dictator wanabe is in the White House right now. And all your guns didn't do a dam thing to stop it.
In other words, give up the freedom to attend a public school. Give up the freedom to meet and associate with fellow classmates. Give up the opportunity to engage in intramural sports. And I’m sure one of the student’s working parents, or a single parent in many cases, will be more than happy to quit their job and stay home to monitor their student’s attendance and progress.
And when the high schools are all closed, some sick SOB will have only middle and elementary schools from which to choose. Maybe we should just close those schools too. Then no child ever goes to school.
What a simple-minded idea. Instead of addressing and solving the problem we’ll just change our lifestyle and behavior to conform to the dictates of some sicko.
BTW, your proposal violates the first principle of the NEA...”a great public school for every student.”
You must have missed the part about Online Learning is already available. Also this is aimed at High School students. If politicians elect to remain ineffectual on the subject, I fear you are right about middle school and elementary schools. I would hope they are motivated to act quickly, but quite frankly judging from their collective response the the Newton shootings I am doubtful.

We would first have to replace the sociopath and psychopath legislators and POTUS with normal humans who have a conscience and are not beholden to $$$ from the psychopathic NRA and other corporate powers who have hijacked our democracy.
That would mean that stupid and gullible American voters would have to wise up and stop voting for psychopaths and sociopaths, and stop being so easy for psychopaths and sociopaths to manipulate.
That would mean that the tens of millions of stupidest gullible Americans, many of whom were raised in religious fundamentalist households that destroy critical thinking abilities from childhood on, would have to somehow wise up and become enlightened voters.
Yea. I know. I don't blame you for being doubtful and pessimistic...

whenever the issue of any form of gun control comes up the NRA fanatics cry keep America free. an unorganized rabble won't get it done. I've asked the NRA for it's solution i'm still waiting. by the way i'm a life member and don't like where the leaders and the fire arms industry have taken it.
