Fuji XT2 with 35/f2 lens.
Congratulations you seem to be the only person prepared to go with a prime.
My choice my K5 and f2.8 28mm macro lens. or the 24mm version.
I would have the new Nikon D850 coupled with the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR. I like photographing landscapes, action sports (basketball) and portraits. The camera and lens combo will give me the best coverage for all scenarios.
Most likely my Nikon F6 (yes film) with the "Street Sweeper (24-120mm).

Just for fun: If you were only allowed one camera and one lens to go on it, what would be your choice and why.
Kodak Brownie....it was my first love! I know it doesn't have a lens to attach but I love the simplicity of it!!
iPhone 8 plus or Fuji XT2& 18-135mm lens. The iPhone 8 because it's got a great camera and is better value the the X. Excluding iPhones has to be the Fuji. Great weather sealed camer and lens. Gives me everything I need.

Fujifilm X-T2 with a Fujinon 16-55mm F2.8 lens.
My Sony A58 and Tamron 18-250.
My Nikon D810 and the 24-70 f2.8 lens. Because in the hands of a competent photographer it simply yields superior results for everything other than wildlife. Nothing is sharper, the camera is everything it is advertised to be. No one could ask for more.
Nikon D7100 with 18-200 mm lens. I use that combination for 95% of all my photos. I also have a 10-20 mm and 55-300 mm which cover the other 5%. The D7100 is also excellent in low light.

Canon M5 and the EF M 18-150mm.

Why? Versatility, less to go wrong with the camera, great detail, excellent exposure control, and versatility.

And, you are SURE to get LOTS of attention. Just keep those sheets outa the X-ray machine.
Probably, all things considered, a Leica, M-10 with a Leica 50mm APO-Summicron-M 50mm/f2.

Probably my Canon 5Div and 100-400 and if allowed, a 1.4x converter. I would go for the image quality over the speed of the 1DX.
That would be my choice also because it's my favorite between the 5Div, 80D and 5Dsr and I get great image quality with all three of these, I just like the 5Div the best.
I tried the 7D MKII twice and the 1DX MKII once and never shot more than 7 or 8 FPS and the image quality on birds was only good when I was really close, at longer distances especially on the 1DX the feather detail went away and it looked more like a painting. I didn't have that problem on my previous Canon, Nikon or Sony cameras. I'm sure it was just me though.

It would drive me even crazier than I am now to have to choose just one camera and lens. I would have to consider the Nikon F4, most Leicas, my Minolta CLE, my Nikon D7100, ad nauseum.
But in the end, it would come down to a choice between film and digital. In either case, my choice would have to be a Leica, an M6 (or 7) for film or an M10 for digital (first choice).
As to a lens, I would have to go with a Leica Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH, suitable for either camera.
