Hello all,
Sorry I haven't had time to comment or follow. Unemployment laws are quit time consuming, you know!
So, yesterday it was 60 degrees here and today, we have an ice storm. Reportedly there were multiple car pile ups on the highway and all area schools closed, except our district. It waited until an hour before scheduled dismissal to close, causing parents to hurry home from work to pick their children up from school. Go figure.
However, spring must be just around the corner... I had a pair of red winged black birds and a robin at the feeder today.

So, when I was younger, I loved snow. I loved winter. But now, not so much.

The first picture was taken last year from inside our dining room, looking out onto the deck. As you can see, the deck was covered in about 4' of snow, which I had to shovel through in order to get to the exhaust vent for our furnace. (It only took me a little over an hour...hey, I'm not a spry young un' anymore.)

The other pictures I've posted on here before, but I thought they fit the subject matter and I'm fascinated with pictures of ice. That is, as long as I don't have to be outside too long to get them.

Hope you enjoy, and as always, comments and suggestions are always welcome.

One night in January we had an evening that dipped below the freezing temp and was accompanied with a little moisture and wind in the cold night air. Rare for here, but it happens.

Good set lhammer, liking them all
