I get GAS attacks here in South Florida.
Everything was taken with my Tamron 18-400
I hope some one can help me name the spiders, and birds.
I was in Wakodahatchee Wetlands,Loxahatchee Wetlands in Palm County, and Fern Forest in Broward
Can I get some suggestions on where else to go to shoot mother nature, and other interesting subjects.
I'm in North Broward
Thanks

Nice set.

That is not a Muscovy Duck. Also there is an Osprey in the picture with the Turkey Vulture

Very good ID about the Osprey & Turkey Vulture.

What kind of duck is it?

Green Cay is similar to Wackadohachee with a mile long boardwalk loop. It's only about a mile or so from Wackadohachee. It's generally not as active, but still quite good. Lots of turtles and birds.

It is actually not a duck. We don't have them around here. I think that someone from Florida has identified it earlier. I don't still have that post, but I think he identified it as a Purple Gallinule. My Sibley book indicates that it lives year-round in Florida and apparently is a member of the rail family.

Moorhen ????

If it walks like a Duck, sounds like a Duck, it is probably a MoorDuck.
