Too many toppings at one time, personal quirk, hate yellow mustard, prefer brown or whole grain mustard, on a dog mustard is good, relish is good, kraut is good, alone of in combo or chili, or onion sauce (as close to Ketchup or tomatoes on a dog as I care to go, BTW pickle on the side if included. Before pizza a street dog boiled/steamed was a true NY lunch, 30sec from order to made and as quick to eat, we don't have time to waste here, VBG, Bob.

The "bread" is made from special Captuo 00 flour and is baked at 800Β°. The "tomato sauce" comes from San Marzano tomatoes and you forgot to mention the mozzarella cheese made from milk from water buffaloes, the parmigiano-reggiano cheese aged two years, and the fresh basil. What, exactly, went into that disgusting glop identified as Chicago pizza?

BRAVO!

I went to school west of Chicago. For 4 bucks we could get a cheese pizza from Baroni's Pizza. 4 of us would chip in a buck and we'd each get a fourth of the pizza. It was only cheese pizza but it was great pizza. Downtown Chicago the place we went was Dino's.

By the way, even though I'm the guy who posted the Chicago pizza photo, I'd love to taste the one you describe. It sounds delicious.

Went to Torino, Italy, on the train for the express purpose of having pizza for lunch, then going back to Annecy, France, where my sis lives, that same day. It was YUMMY!!

Those that don't like that kind of pizza probably prefer Little Caesars.

Anybody remember Pappy's Pizza in Catonsville, Md.? They had great N.Y. style, and pitchers of draft. Many moons ago.

Are you talking about those Nathans hot dogs, pure garbage compared to Vienna dogs in Chicago.

Guess we might as get into Chicago Italian beef vs. Philly cheese steak while we're at it. Though this may be going absurdly off topic at this point.
