This was just a fun shoot with one of my regular models She really is a cowgirl at heart. We even had the nails made!
Nice shot, but trigger discipline. She is not on target, why is she on the trigger?

Good point, as a firearms instructor I can't believe I never noticed that! Guess I was distracted by her beauty
I don't think they had the "Finger off the trigger" mantra back in those days.
Beautiful girl and great fun shot.
Great picture. Nice Winchester 92. Do you know what caliber it is? Is it yours?

Due to a he background, possibly the rifle is a prop.
Secondarily it’s a lever action so probably no round loaded.
Sweet she is most definitely top caliber 😉
looks good to me. That finger off the trigger works fine for hand guns but a heavy rifle, it is too much weight for a 3 finger grip.

I am also a firearms instructor and have no real problem with the finger on the trigger. After all it is just a fun shot. Yes, better not on the trigger but I won’t lose any sleep over it.
I am failing to see your point though about the rifle being a lever action so probably no round loaded. What possible difference does the type of action make that it is probably unloaded? It would have the exact same basic appearance if it was a bolt action, semi automatic, machine gun, revolving rifle or pump action. In short there is no way to tell if a firearm is loaded without opening the action for a visual check. While some firearms have a Loaded Cartridge Indicator, 99% do not.

I like it but the "Bling" on the belt dates it and takes away from the setting.
I kind of like the itchy trigger finger even though its not considered correct.
