I’ve been waiting all day for you to post these. Outstanding. Glad you like your lens. Which camera did you use Brent.
Thanks cmc65 for waiting all day for me to post those! You are very patient! Yes, I LOVE the new lens......it's amazing. I shoot the new lens with my Canon 6D body.
Great action shots of a great sport. How did you get the positioning from above?

While testing out my new telephoto lens I got lucky and at the Huntington Beach Pier they were having a USA Surfing contest going on. The waves were less than perfect but the surfers are all very talented and made up for the poor conditions.

Breat, these are beautiful. I love how you "stop" the water. I feel like I could count the droplets! Nicely done.
Always try to pick a favorite when you post, Brent. Sure isn't easy. But here I love No.9, a "splash" of color in a sea of white. BTW, since you do this genre so well, are you yourself a "surfer Dude?"
Always enjoy your surfing shots and these are no exception!
Wow Brent. These are amazing action shots. Your sets of surfers are awesome no matter what lens you use. I may be wrong but wasn't the girl in your first shot in a post you did in the past?
