Both bodies have a lens all the time. The 80D with a 70-200mm and the T5 with a 18-55mm or a 50mm.

I have had a lot of experience of cleaning up dust spots in PP for me to change lenses for the sake of changing lenses.

I leave an 80-200 on one body all the time and typically an 18-105 on the other. I don't have a clue as to where I could find a body cap.... I don't even have a lens cap on my 18-105 a lot of the time :(

I keep my camera with a lens attached, in my backpack, along with my other lens and two compact cameras. All I have to do is grab my back pack and all my gear goes with me.

Curious as to how many if any of you more experienced photographers leave a lens attached to the camera body when you put it away. If so, is there a particular lens you leave attached or just the last one you were using.
Thank you.

Because off digital sensor's propensity to develop spots that require cleaning I change lenses as few times as possible. And always inside the house.

A camera without a lens attached is pretty useless. I usually leave a 28-70 attached.

I leave the 24-105 attached in the case as that is how the case is set up.

Why does anyone ever bother to remove the lens before putting the camera back in the bag? I always put it back with whatever lens I was using last...

The bodies I store all have caps placed in the lens mount. This eliminates dust from getting inside the works. Likewise, my lenses have fore and aft dust caps on them. For the most part, I leave my 28~300 on my camera. If I'm planning on taking a different lens with me, that one is left on the camera.

I almost always leave mine attached. One less chance of getting debris in the camera while it's off.
