Hi all, I'm Wm. and new to the UHH forum, although I've been reading it for several months now. I am amazed at the knowledge of photography on the forum & how easy questions are answered. I'm 81 years old, retired Electrician & new to digital photography. I live by a river which in season freighters are inbound & outbound all hours of the day and night. I really enjoy watching these huge freighters coming & going. I'm using a Canon HX60HS Camera set at auto to take pictures of the freighters & I have a lot to learn about the camera & using it. So what better place to find out about photography than UHH. At a later time I will ask the questions. The pictures shown is the 623' Menominee which is my favorite ship.
I am the same age and still learning. I have been in digital about ten or twelve years and still learning every day. Age should not stops us from expanding or knowledge and learning new things. Welcome aboard.
