Hi, I'm Terry from Ormond Beach, FL. I may be the "odd man out" on this forum. Most of my photography efforts have been trying to get a handle on shooting underwater photos with an Olympus OMD-EM5. Yup, no Nkion or Canon in my gear. I haven't seen any Olympus users on the site or Micro 4/3rds users either. Nevertheless I have been browsing the posts for a while now and find it very informative and helpful with my progress to improve my photography and post processing skills. Here a couple of examples of recent photos. The wolf (species unidentified) was taken from my backyard. The Redspotted Hawkfish was taken on a scuba diving trip to the Turks & Caicos (ignore the backscatter, I haven't got it all cleaned up yet).
Welcome to the forums.
There are some M4/3 users here.
Hi, Terry and welcome to UHH. Personally, it doesn't matter much to me what you use to produce photographs. It seems many are too hung up on equipment. The final result is what's important. In your case, the final results are quite nice and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Terry Welcome to the forum. Many varied gear here. Thanks for posting some great images.
Oly E-M10 Mark II here, nice shots.
I’ve never stopped to ask a furniture maker what type of saw he used. It’s the photograph not the tool the artist used to create it. Photograph qua photograph.
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. rmalarz, I agree about the "hung up on equipment" comment. I have gotten snubbed by some underwater photographers on dive trips but hey, I have been using Olympus gear since I bought my first SLR back in the early 70's. I don't remember what made me buy Olympus versus other brands back then but I have never been disappointed with the equipment, just with my results :)
I still have two Olympus cameras...an XA and a TG4. Great cameras. The XA went with me on many back country horseback rides and the TG4 on many canoe camping trips. The TG4 gets used whenever conditions prevent me from opening the water proof case the Nikons are in.
Olympus makes Great Cameras and You take Great Pictures....
Welcome, Terry
EM-1 user myself, so we DO exist ! Nice images too
Look forward to seeing some sub-aqua shots, something I've not even contemplated.
Welcome! Looking forward to your posts and pictures. Happy shooting!
Glad you're here! Nice shots of your work. I was looking intently at your "wolf" and, if I am not mistaken what you have there is whats called a color phase coyote. Looking forward to your posts.
Thanks for the tip on the color phase coyote. I have never seen one that dark.
