I personally like seeing my investments climb in value, I like seeing my community bustle with signs of new business, more jobs and more hope for the future. I like seeing my president stand up for citizens instead of illegal immigrants. I like seeing my president stand proudly in foreign settings rather than bowing low. I certainly didn't see any of that in the Obama era.

I live on Galveston Island, TX and building is booming, our hospital (UTMB) is expanding, new restaurants and small shops are opening, cruise ships come and go, oil tankers come by rail into town to empty into large tankers that go by sea, the same goes for grain and cars and heavy equipment and military equipment. All that activity creates new jobs.

It was kinda that way when I was down there early 70s big oil boom. Things not changed much then I see.
