Great shot with a central theme! Yes, even those among we bikers will understand the gravitas of your photo. Funny how a car simply cannot compete with the feeling of a road like that on a powerful m/c.

Cheers

Texas has some great roads. That pictures looks like a fun road for two wheeled therapy. Also, the 3 sisters is wow. Thanks for posting. And, I did do a bit over a 100 miles today for 2 wheeled therapy. ;-)

Just south of Presidio, TX, the Rio Grande to the right... no subject? Well... at the time, the pavement itself was the subject.

Bar hopping on 2 wheels? I hope you are not serious. Booze and motorcycles can be a deadly mix. I have logged well over 100,000 miles on my motorcycle and have never felt that I needed alcohol to enhance the experience.

Love your photo, I have often thought when traversing twisting ribbons of asphalt that I should stop for a photo as you did. I just haven't taken the time to make it happen.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, Mr Soup. I totally agree. Once you get to Terlingua we ride gravel all day and THEN go socializing on foot or with a driver.

Yep, Just watch out for the shoulder as it is often very soft sand. I only rode that once and lost my ability to walk due to a spinal cord injury from a sharp left turn that I didn't quite make it through.
