No more general chit-chat topics.
I noticed Admin has removed "General chit-chat" from the new topics selection menu. So, I couldn't start a new topic under that topic but really it is more suited for this group.
The Christian Photography Group was initiated by "sinatraman" for the purpose stated by him. You can look it up if interested. However, some have invaded this group with no purpose other than to start arguments and controversy which has nothing to do with "sinatramans" stated intention when forming this group. So, this is an appeal to deny the posts any credibility which initiate argumentative statements, etc. which do not glorify God, Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit. If you see a post on here, by anyone, which does not adhere to the purposes stated in "sinatramans" definition please request Admin to move the conversation to the attic and whatever you do no, matter how strongly you feel the need to straighten out or correct the person, do not answer. If you respond you only fuel the fire! This is a great group for Christians to post photos, witness about the goodness of God and His majesty. If we, as Christians, allow those heathens who do not believe in Jesus Christ as Savior to bait us into their endless arguments then we dishonor all we hold sacred. These reprobate people will eventually bow before almighty God. Arguing or discussing sacred things with them in this group is fruitless. Maybe a witness to them about how God through His son, Jesus Christ, has saved you but that is as far as we need to go, imho. In closing, again , report and request all posts which bring on arguments, etc. to Admin and request they move to the attic, please.
Very well said. I personally have backed off this part of the site because of the direction it has been going. What's that verse about casting pearls before swine? Blessings: Bob

I was of like mind but then I realized I shouldn't let non-believers squash my sharing of how God through His son has given me new life. I feel if Christians just ignore the trouble makers and post pics and share thoughts and events, etc which glorify God then we are keeping within the intent of this group. Satan must not get the victory, imho. Thanks for your response. God Bless.
Amen brothers and sisters.

Thanks and so proud of your service to the great nation of the United States of America which God has allowed to prosper. Semper Fi!
"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated Me first." -- John 15:18. And God desires that none should perish, but that all should share eternity with Him. So the lost souls who seek to undermine a forum such as this should be prayed for and mourned, not vilified and debated. The apostle Paul exhorts us to "avoid foolish argument" because it never solves anything and causes only anger and divisiveness. Let the love of the Lord shine through, that the light will be a beacon for all who are lost. Amen and hallelujah!
Well..I guess I see it differently.
We were ALL pagans before salvation and each one of us did the same; we hated God, mocked those who believed and spent time salving our consciences.
If every Christian I met kept silent so as to not get into arguments I wouldn't be a Christian! I was saved by God using a guy who never backed down, never stopped telling me the truth...though I mocked like you wouldn't believe.
I look at pagan's baiting as opportunities to tell the truth of God's word for man.
I'm sure we would all agree that we are to speak the truth in love. I guess the real question is when should we speak? I think the answer for that will rely on the Holy Spirt's prompting which would be different for different occasions. There is a fine line between "Casting pearls before swine" and proclaiming the Gospel which we are commanded to do.As a Christian, I'm sure you have all had the experience of at one time or another feeling like the person you are dealing with simply is not elect and you are talking to a deaf and blind man. And at other times, it is often quite obvious that God is choosing that person's eyes, ears and mind to be open to his Word and using you to bring him to faith in Jesus Christ. Blessings: Bob

I would caution against this. We don't have the faintest idea who the elect are and if we went by outward appearances, neither myself nor Paul the Apostle would be a good candidate.
The friend that I mentioned witnessing to me?
Every single day for 15 years.
Every day.
I was so horrible to him I actually made him weep at one point.
He never gave up.
I moved away and it was several years before I was saved and I had to call him from the WalMart parking lot and told him I was saved...he jumped for joy.
If he'd have went by outward appearances he'd have given up after a day or two.
I thank God that he didn't.
