Our drive-way down from the road is quite steep, so I won't be going anywhere until it thaws.
Amazing how the snow, that I'm not too fond of, enhances the appearance of your house and
surroundings, it's almost a Christmas scene.....

Nice ones Graham, sounds like you need a snowmobile. We have a Cairn terrier/poodle mix dog, like the one in your last image.
It is beautiful and serene. And it certainly makes life a bit hard when you have to get out in it! Maybe that snowmobile is not such a bad idea!
You could shovel your driveway or get it shoveled, then you could get out. Just a thought. vz

It's the first time we have had snow for three or four years. It doesn't bother me and it keeps people away, even the postman (;-))
The nearest house to us is about 500 yards away so we are very fortunate. Our own land surrounds the house, we have 27 acres and the
house is slap-dab in the middle of it. We are in a National Park so there will never be any building for miles around. My grown up kids will be OK there are lots of outbuildings as you can see. So they could all live here, theres plenty of potential for about six dwellings and there's only three of them. We are retired and I don't often go anywhere I love my home too much

Your little dog looks like she loves the snow. My little yorkie hates it.

I bought my missus a big shovel about four years ago for Christmas. This is the first time it has snowed since then. I was beginning to think it was a waste of money. The sun has been out all day it will probably gone tomorrow or the day after. (;-))
Thanks vonzip for comments...

What a wonderfully quaint home. I would be just like you in not wanting to go anywhere. Thanks for sharing part of your life. BTW: I do so enjoy the funny cartoons and jokes you post. Blessings.

Our Molly, in one of the pictures, is a Rough Haired Yorkshire Terrier, because of her condition, the only good sense she
has left is her sense of smell and that isn't much good in the snow, bless her heart. The one in the pohtos' romping and sitting is Shi Tzu Bichon Frize Cross, and she (Winnie) loves it as you can see in the photos. We have another Yorkshire Terrior cross with a shi Tzu (Brynnie) he likes it for ten minutes and he's had enough of it. Thanks jeanbug35 for your commnents.

Here in the Atlanta area, I have had to stay indoors because of our hilly area and the snow and ice. Watched a lot of Netflix yesterday. And today spent hours (5-6) on learning Luminar, On1, and more on LR and Photoshop.

I know you do my friend and I thank you for all your comments, I see your name lots of times on my threads/topics whatever.
The house is made of Yorkshire Stone, originally it was three houses. Then some one made it into just one big house. The single
storey building attached was just an open barn for tractors etc etc. It had three rough arch openings, when I bought the place
over thirty ears ago. A pal of mine now passed on sadly a stone mason, and me built it into what it is now. It is a games room
with full size snooker table, table soccer, darts and a big stone built bar. We had the complete house double glazed, re-roofed,
fully pointed all round and I shall be here until they carry me out in a wooden box of some sort. I hope it's not in the near future.
I have a massive workshop a few hobbies and it's a wonderful place to live in, it's in perfect surroundings as you see in the photos'.
Why should I want to go anywhere for holidays, my life's a holiday. Thanks, d3200prime, it's always good to see your avatar
in my topics.

Great set Graham - looks cold but snow always seems to make scenes look more peaceful.
