Nice one, but his hat and his hood are on backwards.

Maybe he's young at heart.

I can deal with the hat on backwards. I do that a lot myself. The hood on backwards?! Perhaps someone told him that is a lens protector and he doesn't understand what a hood is for. I run into that philosophy more often than you would think.

The picture? On a technical level, very good.

talking about the photo, exposure looks good and it is sharp. background is distracting, especialy the white post and horizontal bars.
Hat and hood show individuality of the guy, nice one!

Normally I do not like stark shadow vs bright light, but this time it works well on his face. It does appear that the light is likely hitting his lens as his hood is useless backwards. Over all I think the shot is great, really like the lines of character in his face. Makes me think he knows how to get the shot (except for the hood deal already mentioned).

I like it, and I understand the reasons for the hat and the hood!

Obviously someone that doesn't care about lens flare!

There's been a few times when I left the hood upside down because the photo op wouldn't wait for me to invert the hood.

Hat, schmatt. I would recommend a graduated filter in Lightroom to lighten the area in shadow on the right of his head.

Good holding technique, great camera choice. Composition is pretty good, sharp focus, Difficult exposure situation, but handled nicely.

I like it a lot--nice pose. I have a similar one of myself that my brother took several years ago.

I like the picture and subject. My attention was drawn directly to the center of the picture, and I finally looked at the background and surrounding elements. Nicely presented...
