So, I suppose you have not been thru a IDENTITY THEFT episode yet. AND, I followed all the rules to try and keep it secure. Your identity is exposed all over the place - doctors, insurance companies, banks - you name it! Anybody working there can “sell” your info. Never mind tech guys.
Secure identity to travel is a prudent precaution. Yup, it kind’a got to me when 5 years ago I had to have 4 forms of ID & birth certificate to renew my driver’s license.
My advice: 1. Freeze your credit with all three - Experion, Trans Union, Equifax. (You can thaw it with a secure pin#)
2. Have a “dark web” scan done. I bet you will be surprised! Both me & my wife’s complete info was out there. AND I mean everything!

A Supervisor of mine a few years ago was a victim of ID Theft. It was nightmarish for her and husband, because it can take years and a lot of time to recover your identity. Don't think because it never happened to you, that it is not a problem. People from foreign countries, behind a computer, that you don't even know, know you.
Can you say Nazi Germany!

How do you have a dark web scan done?

But it’s fine to allow law breakers in Sanctuary Cities . To compare this to Nazi Germany is absolutely absurd .

When I was a kid in school, they taught us that one of the things that made the USA greater than the commies was that you didn't need ID to travel or get a job (amongst other things). Now... I got a consulting job eleven years back where my passport wasn't adequate ID (their policy demanded two photo IDs). And try to get on an airplane without a photo ID, I dare you.
