Good tip! Thanks Skie

Skie's suggestion is great. I would say that inserting a little "space" between the images may make it look less like a photo-bomb and more a twosome shot, my opinion.

Was his skin as dark as it appears in the photo? That is, in relation to daughter? If yes, then it represents a sense of reality. If not, some layer adjustment may be required. You might photograph someone who is close to his skin tone, to use for comparison. Many decades ago, I photographed a wedding of two friends of mine, Mo and Joe. Trying to get the correct skin tones was very difficult (film) even though they were in the same frame. Mo was a very deep dark brown against Joe's almost pasty white. Had a good friend who helped me with the dodging and the burning in needed to come up with the photo that came close to representing them as they were seen.

What was the young lady's response to seeing the photo? (Am curios to know.)

And thank you for sharing.

The little girl on the right is my granddaughter Ruby. The guy on the left is her dad Andy.
Andy died when she was but three. Using a simple layer I brought them back together, so to speak.
When I showed her the photo she looked up at me, smiled and with tears in her little eyes simply said, " Thank you Grandpa

Excellent thought and result!

Well, I've been told by a few little folks that I'm "the best Grandpa in the whole world" but I'm willing to cede the title to you👍
