My first surfer photos of the NEW YEAR! This is Huntington Beach shot mostly from the pier looking down on the surfers on an overcast day. It's a wonderful perspective.

Interesting series of surfer related topics. Like the seagull and there are some good action shots.

Interesting shots with great composition. Timing and framing looks like it would be tough and require anticipation and quick reflexes. As close as we come in Colorado is a few ‘crazy’ people who ‘surf’ in river rapids on SUP boards.

Thank you Leicaflex as always. Thanks also Leicaflex for the 3 smily faces! There is so much more than just surfers to shoot at the Huntington Beach Pier........like seagulls!
I hope the seagull shot is "NOT your typical bird photo" though! In my opinion there are many more bird photos than any other type of photo here on UHH and I wouldn't want mine to be "typical".

Yeah DMGill, surfing on river rapids is different than out here on the West Coast. Thank you DMGill for the kind words about the photos.
