Thanks for sharing..like the third photo the lighting high lighted the eagle..I heard that the eagles are in the area of smithville mo.

Thank you benchdog! I think on #2 and #3 about 35 ft. On the BIF, well over 100 ft. I'm not so good at judging distance, but it was heavily cropped using 600mm focal distance on a crop sensor camera.

Thanks for looking in Camera Man! The eagles seem to congregate anywhere there is open water during extreme cold spells, usually around any dam.
