There were kids there also, so we told the personel there. They actually looked at the snake and said it was a water snake. Me, I was still skeptical (?), so kept my distance!!!

Looked like a copperhead to me too!!!!! Oh, and the butterfly eventually disappeared! Not sure if it flew away or it was a nice tasty meal!

No. I live in Tennessee and spend a lot of time in the woods and on the water. That is a copper head. Very poisoness.

if you see a diamond shaped head you can bet it isn't harmless..but that doesn't mean only diamond shaped heads can do you harm..ie: coral snake
