What is the name of this Bird ?

Hi, I was at Thirteen Curves Road in Delaware and saw this cold looking bird on the ice.I never saw this type of bird here before.

I agree with the juvenile black crowned night heron. And he does look cold.

I'm going with a 'Very Cold Young American Bittern'....Brrrrr, obviously a snowbird who missed their flight to Florida

Definitely a juvenile Black Crowned Night Heron. The large white spots on wings are a dead giveaway.

Definitely a very cold Black-Crowned Night Heron who missed their flight south for winter.....☺☺
