Love your photos! I was raised on a farm in the south, seeing pictures of corn being harvested in the Midwest in the Progressive Farmer magazine looked so exciting, and funny, as a kid I longed for an opportunity to operate one of those huge corn harvesters. In a way, guess that feeling has never died! Thanks for posting.

In late September I was riding the combine and corn pickers all day every day. Fun, no?

Aaahh, the flatlands of Illinois. I'm also in central IL...Bloomington /Normal. I have some great shots of Evergreen Lake and Lake Bloomington from my dji Phantom 4. Never tried flying around the farmers...some get a little nervous when they see a UAV.
I love drone photos. Gives a different perspective when the camera is at altitude.
