Hello everyone! Well, I would like to know have anyone used Inkjet.com to print their photos? And how was the out come of the prints? Would you use their service again? Would you recommend them, and if not you would you recommend? Thanks!

Please read what is needed to post here. You really think someone will answer this question in Photo analysis?

use the printer mfg. ink or if you have a problem the will not back the printer. I spent thousands on my camera equipment, over a thousand on my printer, buy good paper and sell my prints so I want ink to not fade and last. buy cheep ink and see it fade hanging on the wall.

I used them for HP ink, but never have for my Canon printers. No problems with the HP.

I agree. Often considered other ink sources, but for the reasons mentioned above have stuck with the printer mfg. ink.

Why are you so rude and unkind

Another way to look at the cost of ink. I went to a more expensive printer and have one that has 80ml cartridges. I pay more for the cartridge but per ml it's cheeper. Also I didn't consider the number of cartridges as a picture will take a certain amount of ink and if it comes out of one cartridge or a dozen it's still the same amount of ink.

I think what Mr Rongnongno meant to say was that the Original Poster might get more informed responses in the "Printers and Color Printing Forum" here:

Recommend ink supplied by your printer manufacturer.

I've been using their black ink for several years. Great price; fast shipping and good customer service. No problems with cartridges clogging or malfunctioning in any way. Tried their color inks once ...., way too much trouble and the results were not acceptable for photo prints.

Never used that service. I always HP ink. I find it works best for what I do, long lasting with no fade.

Sorry to disillusion you but that is just not true. Inkjet printers squirt minute blobs of ink onto the paper. They create colours by mixing the available colours. The more different colour inks/cartridges available the fewer blobs required to create a particular shade/tint. Hence more ink colours available uses less ink. However I chose a nine colour printer over a twelve colour printer because I could get non OEM inks for it.
The printer makers ink and paper will probably work best with the profiles supplied with the printer but it is a fairly simple job to get the profiles for other makers ink and papers. That is to do with colour matching. There are a good few suppliers/makers of perfectly good quality inks and papers at considerably cheaper prices than most OEM inks and papers.
If spending more than needed to produce a print gives peace of mind then that is what is bought by just using OEM supplies of ink and paper at inflated prices. I'd rather check out other supplies and not spend more than necessary.

Stick with your Printer Manufacturer's ink at least until after the warranty runs out. If you don't it voids the warranty.

After that it's a crap shoot as to what ink you use.

Remember that manufacturers design a system to use the best technology for their line; printer, paper, and ink are designed to work together. If you change one of those factors, you're throwing the quality of the end result into question.

How long will the print last without fading?

Are you only using the prints for your own use, or do you plan to sell the prints? If the quality of the end result degrades over time, will the purchaser come back to you requesting a replacement print?

Quantity over Quality? Do you really want to go there?

I think you mean inkfarm.com. I have had good luck with their inks, after being disappointed by other aftermarket suppliers. They are currently having a 25% off sale with free shipping. I ordered two sets for my printers. A lot depends on the printer. My Hp C5280 prints better photos than my Canon iP4500.

I don'tsell my prints (not a pro) so my prints are for family. I use Ink Farm. If my living depended on the quality of my prints I would only use OEM inks. For my use I can't tell the difference between Ink Farm inks and Canon ink
