Many small farmer's markets have sprung up in the Birmingham, AL area this year. They afford some good photo ops of their stands with colorful produce on display. I took the attached photos with my Canon G10 last Saturday. The G10 is a great, very capable point and shoot which allows you to get as "manual" or as "auto" as you want. Takes very sharp photos.
Chilton County Peaches
Assorted Produce
Cherry Tomatoes in containers

What wonderful shots! Glad to hear these were taken with a p/s as I have an Olympus SZ-10 and am anxious to learn all I can to take great photos. Just have to sit down w/manual and practice I guess. Were these 'manual' or 'auto'? I have family in B'ham. Hope they visit these wonderful mkts. too.
Very nice pics, what setting or settings did you use? I am going to local market Sat. a.m. and hope I can a few pics as nice as yours..
Nice. You have kicked my taste buds into action.
I used "P" and had the white balance set at "cloudy".
Question: I am fairly new to UHH and this was my first photo gallery posting. After I posted, I checked next few days on UHH and didn't see it. Then I went to "My Topics" and found yours and several others comments. If I didn't see it on UHH, how did you and others see? Did I just miss it somehow?
I am not that experienced here, I got mixed up a few times and clicked on My Posts at the top of page and found what I was looking for.
