Hondo,

Perhaps we are also being given an opportunity to revise due process in regards to harassment? I suspect the current process was not viable or very disappointing to the point they are sharing on Social Media which in the current situation has resulted in this avalanche known as #MeToo. I would support a closer look at the current due process and determine if it is fair.
Yes I worked in a middle school 5-8th grade. I believe some teachers are removed, I have no experience with that.

I wasn't suggesting that it had happened with you personally. Sorry if it came out that way.

I was suggesting that you were probably cognizant of whatever policies were in effect where you were. I guess if its fair for a teacher to be removed from a public school prior to a trial/investigation then that should probably apply to all in the public sector.

Private sector usually does not involve kids. I am sure they would come up with their own policies. If it were to happen on site, there most likely would be a zero tolerance sort of deal. You'd be removed from the premises based on allegations and fired if it was determined to be true. Businesses can't afford lawsuits from victims.
