First, nice imaging Brian.
I do have a soft spot for B&W imaging. There is a certain cleanness to it.
And Ha... I should bring that back into play for grins and giggles.
When I was having a problem with my color Infinity I contacted Atik.
Long story short, I felt I got run around quite a bit by what I came to surmise was a nice old guy with more lip service than solid answers.
It finally lead to asking I return the camera, at which point I told them I wasn't the original purchaser. That slammed the door in my face.
Something that did come of the drawn out conversation was that they didn't think it was the software. But others I've been in touch with have also shared problems with the downloaded software.
I realize that with all the variables involved in dealing with the public it can't be easy to write bug-free software. But don't deny the possibility there can be a problem stemming from the software.
Because it'll come back to haunt you.
Most recently I've been experiencing some sort of an anomaly in the latest download. It opens a screen that is ghostly grey and one thing it shows is downloading updates. My only work around has been to go back to the desktop, reopen the program, then close the ghost. Which appears to shut down two bad programs.
I've gone to extremes to rid my computer of the problem, but it persists. No need to contact support, they are a lot like Microsoft Help. Or as it is, NO Help.
Sigh, although I really like the camera, somebody needs to realize the lack of support is killing the company. They need to get serious or they'll wither and die in this connected world.
