I'm looking for software to do this easily and simply. I have Nikon Capture Pro 2 & LR CC, but that process is overcomplicated and too time consuming. Anything simple I can download now. Thanks.
Got Windows? Open RAW or JPEGS in the Photo Viewer. Select print. I am sure iOS has something similar.

The way I read the post is they want to bypass the computer all together and go from camera straight to printer. I don't know of any way to that. There used to be a printer you could put the card from the camera in and print that way, but the quality of prints was very poor.

Then where is he going to download the software?

According to page 349 of the D850 owner's manual it is PicTbridge compatible. That would allow you to connect it to a compatible printer. If I remember correctly, that camera lets you edit raw files for JPG output.

Real simple software would be Irfanview which is a free download.

Thank you all for your assistance. As my Santa/Child shoot is tomorrow (I got volunteered!), here's what I'm going to do as it seems the fastest and easiest although I have other options. I will be tethering my D5 to Lr Classic CC on a MacBook Pro and printing to a Epson Picturemate 225 (Personal Photo Lab) owned by the client. I checked it out today, ran some head maintenance cycles and the prints look decent. For the $2 they're charging for this session with Santa, it's not a bad deal! Thanks again to all who answered.
