There are so many kinds of birds, and each type has its own charm. Great pictures. I love how different birds have such different colors, and beautiful colors.

Thank you so much, Merry. Afterward, my sister said I seemed the happiest I had for quite some time! I was quite close to that beautiful heron. I was hand holding with my 24-120 lens. I would snap a couple of shots then move a couple of steps closer to him. I kept doing that until I decided I didn't want to disturb him. He was awake, just not in the mood to fly off.
