American Comedy Show

If they were not elected to do important things I would say our elected Representatives were the best comedy show available in the news today. But sadly they are definitely not a comedy show in my book. Anymore in my opinion they are pretty much just truly a pathetic bunch of leaches on the system. We now find out that our elected officials (without any vote from the American people) have even set up an account (hush money) to fund and take care of any sexual improprieties Congress might commit and be subjected to in a lawsuit. I read where something like 1.4 million in tax payer dollars have already been spent from this fund. Nothing in the fund to my knowledge requires the Congress person who uses this fund be required to pay it back.

This morning on CNN news it was reported the Democrats were outraged over the new tax bill being voted on. They were screaming that they didn’t have time to read over the bill before voting was taking place. It made me laugh to myself as I thought of the Queen Bee of the Democrats Nancy Pelosi’s famous saying when the Affordable Care Act was up for a vote, “let’s vote on this thing and get it passed so we can read it and see what’s in it.” What hypocrisy.

Lying to the FBI (a felony offence) has become common place and what’s worse the FBI chooses who to indict on charge and who not to. Can you say Stewart, Flynn and Hillary? Pretty obvious everyone is not measured by the same stick. What a travesty of justice our system has become. Government spends money like there is no tomorrow and seemingly has no accountability for almost anything they do. Next someone will be calling for a costly investigation because some Congressman or woman took a dump in the wrong stall in the restroom.

Most Democrats and some Republicans would sell America’s soul just for the opportunity to take down Trump. Isn’t it time for our government to start displaying the by-partisanship they all talk about? If not; time to vote them out! All of them if necessary. I’m tired of all the blatherskite that’s going on and very little getting done because of it.

The sad fact is that Republican or Democrat, these ELECTED people are supposed to be working for ALL Americans not just a select few. Each day it appears that they have only decided to work for a targeted percentage of Americans and that’s one of the most depressing situations in Washington currently. I’m not naive, I realize we’ve been through this before, but I don’t remember it being so divided, so nasty and so critical in the past.

Deputies are generally only assigned to jail duty for a couple of reasons:

They are new on the job.
They can't survive on the street
They are being punished

Of course you may have been an un sworn officer (a clerk)

It's up to you whether you wish to share.

I guess being cordial to you just doesn't work.

As to whether people like me are common there. You don't know nearly enough about me to know if that is true or not.

I'm pretty sure you will find more draftees there than you will conscientious objectors. Indicating that there are more people like you there than like me. I have no problem picturing you in PC. Careful, don't get spit on.

Very cute, you seem to know very little about the operation of a county sheriffs office, no surprise as you seem unable to differentiate opinion from fact. Where I was employed duties were rotated, our sheriff believed that deputies not specifically assigned to investigation or staff should be proficient in all duties including, jail, search and rescue, patrol, and civilian interaction, visiting schools, and other functions.
I requested and was granted jail duty "C" shift (graveyard shift) so I could attend college in the day and during slow times on duty, do homework and study. My Lt. assigned me to records and log duties to facilitate my goal. Yes, I was a sworn officer.
