I also gave up on Top Gear. I watched for a few years, but...[/quote]
Top Gear is gone, replaced with The Grand Tour. (Amazon)
Same guys, same thing with cars, different everything else.
All Creatures Great and Small takes the cake for me, but I had to turn on the English subtitles, because I could not keep up with the Yorkshire accent.
I have Netflix and I get a whole screen of movies and have to scroll down quite a ways in order to see their offerings. I found that you have to take your chances on what you want to view. They also have special picks for you depending on your viewing history. I've found that some of the descriptions are misleading.
Another good one is " A place to call home"

Sorry, but I couldn't find that on Netflix. But they offered a whole lot of TV series though.
I have only been able to find one of what I would call a "high quality" movie on Netflix.
"An Unfinished Life", with Robert Redford, Morgan Freeman, and Jennifer Lopez. This one is more drama than action.
Most Netflix originals are really low class, low quality shows with very contrived, thrown together bits of blood and gore. By the way, blood is red, NOT black.
A lot of the violence is just for shock value. Check out "An Unfinished Life" and let me know what you think of it.

Sorry you feel that way. Maybe you should try Amazon Prime, or just go to the theater. I just got through watching a true movie about a boy who hit his head playing basketball and recovered. That was on Netflix. Or maybe you would like to watch 'murder in the haunted house' or 'the longest day'.
I just got through checking if they had unfinished house, and it was one that I have seen before, and, to me, I thought it was a great movie.

I just started a trial of Amazon Prime a couple days ago. Many of the movies are ones I have seen before, either on tv or a theater.
Some are so old that they go back to before I was born. I'm going to check out some of the newer/later ones.

That's great. Glad you liked it but the title is "Unfinished Life". There may be an "Unfinished House" among the many titles. It seems like they have at least a thousand.
