Ya think? Failed? Perhaps the general population of the planet.

I really don't know about the population of the planet. Why don't you send the joke to everyone on the planet and when you get the answer let me know. Now, go philosophize about that!

Sent it to a few lady friends and am still waiting for a return giggle. Guess we don't philosophize much in my world. Was never a topic in my life. I was too busy with other things. Different jokes for different folks. As for the population of the planet, well that would be about 7.7 billion.

This is the point in time when all the philosophy students might have giggled, as they are familiar with the philosophical proposition stated by Rene' Decartes, "Cogito ergo sum", or I think, therefore, I am.

But to explain the concept aforehand would be putting Descartes before the horse.

I knew right away the reason for the horse disappearing, but didn't see the second part! Good one!

Actually, Decartes stated, "Cogito ergo sum", meaning I think therefore I am. I think it should be Cogito cogito ergo cogito sum. I think that I think therefore I think that I am. This statement is probably much closer to reality.
