There is very little fall color here in North Texas. Most of the leaves are just drying up because we had a very dry September. The attached photos are very highly modified.
The first three are just photos taken the regular way but highly modified for color in Adobe Camera Raw.
The next three are a bit different. They are pictures of trees reflected in a very tranquil stream. As taken, the top of the tree would be at the bottom of the photo and the stream bank would be at the top. But I turned them upside down and modified them for color and I like the result. The reason the sky looks so squirrely is because it is reflected in the stream and you are looking through that reflection a bit and seeing the rocks on the stream bed. These kind of remind me of water color art. And the photos are almost all water!
The last one with sun rays in the name is also highly modified. I added the sun rays in Luminar.
These don't look too good to me in the preview so I highly recommend the download.
