Just purchased elements from a retailer. All goes well until I enter the redemption code. I get an invalid code message. The second digit in the first block looks like a S, but it won't accept a letter in the first block. Only numbers. Has anyone else had this problem?

Try typing in a 5 instead of S
My Elements 15 does have letters and numbers mixed in every block. On the outside of the package there is a barcode with the words ‘SCAN TO ACTIVATE PRODUCT’. Not sure if it actually has to be scanned to actually make it work or not, but they may be serious that they want it scanned.
I had to call Adobe and get a redemption number which was different from the number on the box. Good luck. Tried 15 and would not work on a 32 bit system. Must be an older computer. Good Luck.
My Elements 15 disks (Premere and PS) are all numeric serial numbers. I saw no mention of a redemption code. Is that for a downloaded version?

You have to get a serial number first. Go to
www.adobe.com/go/getserial. Sign in with your Adobe ID or sign up to create an ID. When prompted, enter the redemption code. At that time your serial number will be displayed. Copy it down incase you ever have to reinstall. Now when it asked for the serial number during installation, type it in. It will be all numbers. Good luck, I had the same problem when I installed the product.

Have you tried typing a 5 (five) instead of S ?

When I bought Elements 14 the only redemption code was for a copy "OnOne Effects" to use with Elements. The License key was on the installation disc and it was all that was needed to install Elements.

Maybe you've already found a solution, but her is my second 2-bits worth anyway:
Just found the print-out back (I had already put it in a "safe" place).
Rather than purchasing the boxed version, I downloaded via a retailer's website (less expensive than directly from Adobe).
So, the number, here called a Product Key, consists of 6 groups of 4 digits, separated by dashes, in this format: 1111-2222-3333-4444-5555-6666
If your key looks different than this, it possibly belongs to something else, as I believe two years ago, when I bought version 15, it was the same format.
