Hello Friends,
I have been working with Lightroom 5 for a while mostly with raw files. I understand the software pretty good but would like to learn more. The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom classroom in a book is hard to find. My question is would Adobe Press Book: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC / Lightroom 6 Classroom in a Book (2015) help me with lightroom 5.5. Or should I upgrade the lightroom software. I do not want to pay a monthly fee.
Thanks in advance.

So pay annually for Lr and Ps - and get two great software products - your monthly fee goes away. Or pay to upgrade whatever software product you end up with - same difference. Either way, you pay.
Yes the book will work. As will the 1000s of free videos and tutorials on the internet. Check YouTube.
Do not waste money on orphaned software.
Have found Scott Kelby's Lightroom and Photoshop Books helpful,,,both $30 each at Barnes and Noble,,,and the Helpful Friendly Pros of this Forum,,,Thanks for the Collective Knowledge and Helpful Friendliness of this Forum Family....
I think Anthony Morganti has some of the best and easiest to understand videos going. He'll also respond to the comments :).
Keep checking eBay for a used volume. LR5 books are cheap as they are yesterdays newspaper as it were.
