Get the D850 take a fantastic photo that you can sell for $3,300 plus tax and then pay your property tax. πŸ˜€ πŸ˜ƒ

My 2017 property tax notice arrived in the mail yesterday. It just happens that the property taxes are about the same as the price of a Nikon
D850.
So, should I pay the taxes; or order an 850?
The hit to the bank account will be the same; and my wife won't see the difference.

That depends on what would arrive in the mail first: the camera or the tax lein?

For the record that would be tax "lien".

Yours is the best kind of humor, it assumes intelligence on the part of the reader. Those who think you're serious are, well...

In Houston which use to have cheap property taxes. My TAX bill would purchase four of five professional cameras.

On a property that was originally purchased for $10,000, That is why I am moving the H#LL out to 47 acres in the country. Taxes will be five times cheaper. More room to play with cameras and guns also.

To begin with, you’re lucky you live in Florida. The tax bill here in CT could buy you an 850 and a bag full of lenses!
Buy the camera. With a good tax lawyer you can negotiate a reduced rate and delay paying for many months. In the meantime you’ll get great enjoyment with the camera.

One advantage is that you still have your FX lenses. Imagine having to buy them as well. Along with the $3300, for body only.

I am too often taken more seriously than I intend to be, but I thought this would be understood.

I understood even though I have no sense of humor.

Buy the Nikon and then hopefully you'll have saved enough to purchase it back during the auction...πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

My property tax would pay for the 850, a flash and a few good lenses. Welcome to NJ.

You'll get more bang for your buck if you get the camera and relocate yourself off the grid. Worth every cent!

First find out how long they will go before they take any action. Some states go 2 to 3 years before they go to auction.

Put a little extra aside to play catch up in two thirds of the time they take.

A little each month is not easily noticed.

Buy the camera.

Downside she finds out and uses the cameta to beat you. 😁

LOL...
You wont be able to use the 850 in jail. And there are those pesky lawyer and court fees.

Still, tough choice!

Are you serious? Let your taxes go delinquent and see how happy you will be. Do you really need a bunch of strangers to answer that question?

I don’t think he was serious. Did you?
