Any thoughts on this? Worth adding to LR?

For $59 (or is it $69 today), how can you go wrong?

I can't speak for LR users but I did the upgrade and also installed it on my Windows computers (well, my wife's, actually). I think it's an excellent program with the odd ability to be easy and simple to use if you want but also able to do some very sophisticated stuff (beyond my level for sure).
These folks write GREAT software. Luminar and Aurora are both excellent. Highly recommended!
Like many others I've purchased Lumiar... me with intent to escape Adobe's clutches where cost has jumped from $10/month to $15 (in Australia)... hopefully Luminars DAM arrives before my Adobe CC renewal
Pretty useful program for a great price. Only issue is that it's killing the memory on my desktop (Win 10 - 16 GB RAM). Memory utilization jumps from 30% to high 80's or low 90's.
Got both Luminar 2018 and Aurora this fall. Looks like I'll be climbing a tough learning curve this winter.
Since I can’t get a stand-alone LR anymore (I abhor the monthly hold-up), Luminar is my new program, once I learn it.
I purchased and installed. First reaction is it does the image enhancements I am looking for. But no batch mode, or editing several images, then exporting them all at the same time, have the computer do the hard work while I am eating dinner.
Give me a month and I will know all the technical tricks. Looking forward to learn it. Worst case it just delayed my purchase of lightroom for six months.
Looks like a promising program.
Downloaded Luminar 2018 yesterday and it would not work with LR Classic. It took nearly 15 minutes to link to Luminar from LR and then completely locked up my computer for about 15 minutes and crashed. I'm sure the Luminar folks are going crazy this morning with all the problems from a new release. Too bad they don't have a phone number to call, just email responses. The standalone version works OK but totally unusable as a plugin for LR at this time for me anyway....until they can get this fixed.
Works fine for me with LR Classic and W10 machine. It did require a "Synchronize Folder" step to see the image after it was exported from Luminar back to LR.

Thank you Ronichas! I just ordered it.
Luminar 2018 is so much better than LR, I don't use it anymore and when my Creative Cloud subscription has finished "GOODBYE" Adobe. They have been "the king" for way to long.
