I'm looking to print a few of my own calendars. Just curious if there are any good software programs to do this in? Thanks in advance..

If you own a MAC Computer you can make: Calendas, Books (hard cover), Greetings Cards that include birthday, holidays, post-cards! They do a very impressive job. Go to an Apple store and check it out. HOW'S THAT! AP
Most of the software (like the old CalendarMaker) are obsolete. I just printed -- in less than five minutes -- a calendar with a photo and events from (free)
Pically Calendar. Looks nice!
Each year for the past 10 years or so I have been producing calendars, using my photographs, to give as Christmas gifts to family and friends. I make wall calendars for family members and put names and birth dates on each appropriate date square as well as large photos. for each month. For friends, I produce desk calendars using smaller photos. I use Vista Print's online program to produce these calendars and also use Vista Print to print them. I find their program quite easy to use in constructing the calendars and the staff has been quite helpful when I have questions. I also use their program and printing service to produce Christmas cards. In my opinion the quality of their products is excellent and they are prompt. Go on-line and search for their site and give it a try.

I have printed calendars each year for a lot of years. At one time I sold them from a local major retail outlet, but with all the 'faffing' to get the money it was not worth it. For some years now I give them instead of Christmas Cards. My 'posse' seem to look forward to getting them. I'm on (several) PC computers. I use Publisher from the Office Suite. Since Office 2010 the templates are really useful. I modify one of the templates and laser print about thirty calendars each year. At higher numbers it may be cheaper to 'farm out' the printing but I enjoy creating from start to completion. Laser printing in such small numbers is quite expensive but gives a professional look and is less likely to suffer from condensation if the calendar is placed in the kitchen. I print on 160gsm card and print out from December of the current year to January of the year after. That is fourteen months. Having the December and January of the previous and following year is often useful during the change from year to year. Besides I get in two more photos! There are 30 pages to the calendar. That gives a photo next to each month and on the back of the previous months page I print some information about whatever is in the next photo. Such as Otters, The Flying Scotsman steam engine, The Lancaster Bomber, the Spitfire aeroplane. I do not describe my photos, just what is shown in them. I am already distributing my 2018 edition.

I wife uses and likes Shutterfly.
The choices for MacOS are limited. Calendar Maker had lots of control features, but as mentioned no longer available. I've been using the Printshop 2, while not as flexible as Calendar Maker, but gets the job done and can import events from Calandar, Mac's built in app. Have fun making calendars!
I have made calendars for years, and like customizing them beyond the templates offered by Vistaprint and the like. I use the template offered by graphmaster.com for Adobe InDesign. Allows me to create a PDF that Staples easily prints out. They do a quality product.

If you're considering having them printed as an option, take a look at PrintingCenterUSA as an option (
https://www.printingcenterusa.com/non-profit-calendars). I've used them for several years to print a calendar for my local SPCA. Prices are the best I could find, and they do quality work. I priced out an order for 10 calendars just to see how they compare to Vistaprint: PrintingCenter $151.84 (and they often have a discount program running); Vistaprint is $156.00 for 10.
For 15 years i've been using Calendar Creator Deluxe (about $20). Has everything you need. if you have an inkjet printer try Red Rivers "Zepplin SemiGloss" paper. It will make your calendars look professional. For my personal use I use it for birthdays, adding Doctors appointments, etc. Then I print those 2 months in advance for myself and the rest of the family gets all 12 months with only the birthdays.
I couldn't find where to add events to this calendar.
Pically Calendar has that customization feature. However, both are free, and platform-independent.
I have made calendars for years using the Apple program on my MAC. Professional results. If you don't want to be bothered, I found that Costco Photo does a fine job on their products. I had them print a wedding book for my granddaughter's wedding using my images, in their template (they have several), sent to them over the Internet and they will mail you the product if a store isn't convenient.
These are all very nice suggestions. BUT, if you want to short-cut the process, you might have a look at
https://jaigieesephotoart.com, and when you get there, click on "Specialties" and/or "Books" in the page-top tool bar. At present, I offer two very nice 2018 wall calendars and two equally nice 2018 daybooks.
Other stuff, too. Do some exploring.
Just a thought, and a little self-promotion.
