I really like these images - please tell me at what point the are defined as close up rather than macro - I am really new at macro - long time shooter of close ups thinking they were macro. Harvey

Thank you all very much for your comments. To answer Harvey's question, these are macro shots. Macro shots can be posted in Close up, as well as other sections.
Earl - Not being picky as I am a real newbe to macro - were these 1-1 - I have decided I am not going to get into stacking layers - I have a prime 50 mm 1.1:8 that I am using tubes with at f8 & f11 and getting good DOF for my close-ups and non-super macro works Hope to post some "keepers" soon. Harvey
