Grass seedhead supported by water surface tension on a pond

Some of you saw this in my June FYC topic. The adjustments I made to the image since then were to rotate 90 degrees and add a white border so the outer dimensions would fit an 8x12 frame. Also, this version might have a bit more sharpening and brightening.

I've been looking for a similar photo op ever since, but have only seen small leaves in not quite the right light/shadow - except for the water striders

Thanks so much, Dennis! I'm so glad I've (mostly) learned to be observant of surroundings as this was never set out to be a goal that morning, lol. Also glad for free digital film as a few snaps only cost us time
