These pictures are awesome. The first few pictures look like a bachelor herd. Great capture..

The fourth one is a classic.
Like them all but the fourth one is my favorite.
Unfortunately, many will be rounded up and sent to slaughter houses for meat consumption.
I recall reading about an attempt to get some form of birth control made available to control the numbers, but I don't think it has been worked out yet. May not be possible.
Everybody likes horses, but your images bring out the authentic nature of these animals in their natural habitat. Enjoyed these images.

Great, the last shot shows a couple mares in fold.
Wouldn't that be "in foal?"

I think “in foal” is like saying “mother with child.”

The dictionary says "being with young; pregnant; - said of a mare."
The OP wrote "in fold," an obviously misguided attempt at "in foal."
A horse is very hard to fold, even when young. <Alan

I think that is basically what I posted.

OK, I'll go with "in fold" then.

In some of those shots I'd say wild is putting it mildly. Beautiful series.
