I learned in past years that autumn ground fog dissipates quickly once the sun rises. Using auto ISO works well since the light changes minute to minute. Shooting in raw provides more flexibility for creative interpretation of mood, exposure, colors and details vs. softness.

Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II (what a ridiculously complicated name!) m4/3 camera with 75-300 mm Olympus M.Zuiko lens.

Thanks for viewing!

Nice effects, Linda; love the heron in the last one.

Thank you, Rob! I took a little creative license with that one: booted out the heron that was sitting there looking towards the rear (headless views are not attractive) and replaced with another. Made it a skosh larger and darker than should have I saw five great herons total in that field, 3 on one irrigation crossbar. They love catching the rodents stirred up by the cows' grazing.

You're allowed, Linda; perfectionism is a virtue in my book.
