My second post....
This is one of my first tries after buying some basic lighting equipment, I think I could do better now but it's still one of my favorites :)
Would you care to elaborate?

Ok, the exposure is good, nice even lighting. I like the peek-a-boo areola. I think that is the boudoir art.
But .... I find the background, the headboard, and the vertical trim, distracting, and m foreground, the foot and shoe, are a little too close for (my) comfort.
I agree with the background, but like the foreground elements as the focal point...as I said, it's one of my first attempts and I'd do it different today, but still overall I like it. Thanks for the comments :)

Perfection in foreshortening.... redo the shot with her big toe sticking up.... yes the back ground competes with the shoe... at least she did not have spurs!!
I like the photo. If it were taken in a studio, I would be more critical of the pose of the shoe and foot. A nude photo taken in a bedroom loses a bit of it’s voyeuristic quality, i.e. I am seeing a private moment, when the exposure and pose are too setup looking. This is my humble opinion.

This looks more like a point and shoot snapshot rather than a planned shot.
This is a shot of the shoe, foot, and lower leg. Everything else is too subdued to be interesting. I like the shot, I see it as a good study of shoes with nude body attached. Exposure and lighting look good to me.

My experience from photographing females, you never want to show the bottom of shoes. The pose is a little awkward, not sure what the theme is here. Are we suppose to notice the shoes or the model.

Thanks for the feedback, especially on the bottom of the shoe. The idea was to convert it to B/W except for the bright red shoe, as I had never done that and wanted to try the technique. I think it worked well for that, so I guess you could say the theme IS the shoe. I didn't post the B/W because I'm aware that technique is wildly overdone and anticipated a very negative reaction to it, so I just posted the orginal :)

OK, now that you have teased us and explained your motive, how about showing us that overdone technique of just a red shoe on B&W. Is it really bad? Did you like the result? I certainly am curious and would like to compare it to the original.
I actually DID like it, quite a lot (maybe because it was my first time using the technique, but still...)
YES!, this version is terrific, catching the viewer's fancy and fantasy. Quite a good job all around (IMHO)
