Called in seven coyotes this weekend. Also called in this Northern Harrier. The hawk shots turned out better than my coyote ones, but oh well. The yotes are much more difficult to work with. Enjoy
David, beautiful photos. The harrier photos are outstanding and as far as the coyote goes, he is just to smart to allow photos to be taken.

I love those inflight shots...nicely taken.
Outstanding composition in those Harrier shots David. Tack sharp and great detail.

Great shots David, especially the last one. I am distracted by your sig/watermark though.
Awesome shots! how do you "call " them in ? I have a lot of coyote around, I can hear different groups of them at night , but rarely see one and the red tail hawks won't let me get within 400mm range! I suspect they can see better than I.
thanks for posting some great shots!
Number 3 is my fovorite, very nice!

Beautiful shots! I was reading about the Harriers because I just bagged my first one and learned that they have exquisite hearing facilitated by their radar dish of a face and your photos made that very plain to see. They resemble owls, another bird with phenomenal hearing due to the same biological adaptation.
