Ashland OR in Fall

We just got back from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland and the fall colors were beautiful. I took these with an iPhone 6 and a Canon SD 980 P&S pocket camera. Not having a viewfinder didn't make much difference. Enjoy.

That last picture is fall at it's finest...golden leaves, dappled sunlight, a person strolling. Beautiful.

My favorite place to shoot Wood Ducks is Lithia ponds. I live just north of Ashland in Medford. Very nice set of photos.

As former East Coasters (46 years ago) we didn't expect the foliage to be this spectacular. My only regret is that we didn't make more stops to take pictures in far Northern California on the trip home.

Thank you MrsMoses. We usually try and spend a half day at Crater lake but we booked 2 plays/day for our 3 day stay. Not a great season - I think Crater Lake would have been more enjoyable!
